The 180MW integrated photovoltaic energy storage and charging power station in Longnan, Gansu Province is a key project to promote the high-quality development of the new energy industry. It aims to optimize the regional energy structure and help achieve the "dual carbon" goal through the deep integration of photovoltaic power generation, energy storage systems, and charging facilities. Longnan City relies on an annual average of over 1600 hours of sunshine resources and policy support to layout this power station to increase the proportion of clean energy, alleviate the pressure of power grid peak regulation, and serve the local demand for electric vehicle charging. After the completion of the project, it is expected that the annual power generation will reach 280 million kilowatt hours, which is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 230000 tons. At the same time, it will provide stable green power supply for surrounding industrial parks and transportation hubs, promoting Longnan to become a demonstration area for the coordinated development of new energy industry in Gansu.
The power station adopts an integrated design of "photovoltaic+energy storage+charging". The photovoltaic system uses high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon modules with an installed capacity of 180MW and a supporting energy storage system scale of about 36MWh. It adopts lithium iron phosphate battery technology and has millisecond level response capability. The energy storage system achieves dynamic matching between photovoltaic output and load demand through an intelligent energy management system (EMS), stabilizes power generation fluctuations, and enhances grid stability. Charging facilities include DC fast charging stations, AC slow charging stations, and hydrogen refueling equipment, supporting multiple scenarios such as electric vehicles and hydrogen vehicles. In addition, the project reduces operating costs through the "valley power storage and peak power discharge" mode, and participates in auxiliary services in the electricity market to enhance economic benefits.
The project has an investment of approximately 1.2 billion yuan and is expected to generate an annual revenue of over 150 million yuan. It will achieve profitability through green electricity trading, carbon emission reduction benefits, and peak valley electricity price differentials. On the environmental level, the power station can reduce the consumption of standard coal by 85000 tons per year, lower the emissions of sulfides and nitrogen oxides, and help improve the air quality in Longnan. In terms of social benefits, the project has driven the development of industrial chains such as photovoltaic modules and energy storage batteries, created over 500 job opportunities, and served as a new energy education base to enhance public environmental awareness. In the future, the power station will be linked with projects such as the Longnan Smart Grid and Hydrogen Energy Corridor to form a "power generation energy storage application" closed loop, providing a replicable "Longnan model" for energy transformation in the northwest region.
