The Jiujiang Yongxiu 80MW integrated photovoltaic energy storage and charging power station is a benchmark project in Jiangxi Province to promote the deep integration of the new energy industry and rural revitalization. It aims to optimize the regional energy structure and help achieve the "dual carbon" goal through the coordinated layout of photovoltaic power generation, energy storage systems, and charging facilities. The project is located near the industrial park or transportation hub in Yongxiu County, relying on the local annual sunshine resources of over 1600 hours and policy support to build an integrated energy system of "photovoltaic energy storage charging". After the completion of the project, it is expected that the annual power generation will reach 120 million kilowatt hours, which is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 100000 tons. At the same time, it will provide green charging services for surrounding electric vehicles and logistics vehicles, promoting Yongxiu County to become a demonstration zone for the coordinated development of Jiangxi's new energy industry.
The power station adopts an integrated design of "photovoltaic+energy storage+charging". The installed capacity of the photovoltaic system is 80MW, and high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon modules are selected. Combined with the layout of ground and carport photovoltaics, the land resources are maximized. The energy storage system has a scale of about 16MWh and adopts lithium iron phosphate battery technology with millisecond level response capability. It dynamically matches photovoltaic output with load demand through an intelligent energy management system (EMS), smooths power generation fluctuations, and improves grid stability. Charging facilities include DC fast charging stations, AC slow charging stations, and hydrogen refueling equipment, supporting multiple scenarios such as electric vehicles and hydrogen vehicles. In addition, the project reduces operating costs through the "valley power storage and peak power discharge" mode, and participates in auxiliary services in the electricity market to enhance economic benefits.
The project has an investment of approximately 500 million yuan and is expected to generate an annual revenue of over 40 million yuan. It will achieve profitability through green electricity trading, carbon emission reduction benefits, and peak valley electricity price differentials. On the environmental level, the power station can reduce standard coal consumption by 35000 tons per year, lower sulfide and nitrogen oxide emissions, and help improve air quality in Yongxiu County. In terms of social benefits, the project has driven the development of industrial chains such as photovoltaic modules and energy storage batteries, created over 200 job opportunities, and served as a new energy education base to enhance public environmental awareness. In addition, the power station is linked with projects such as the Yongxiu County Smart Grid and Hydrogen Energy Corridor, forming a "power generation energy storage application" closed loop, providing a replicable "Yongxiu model" for the transformation of Jiangxi's new energy industry.
The project innovation adopts a four in one model of "photovoltaic+energy storage+charging+rural revitalization". By leasing the roofs of farmers or vacant land in industrial parks to construct photovoltaic facilities, efficient utilization of land resources is achieved, and rental income is provided for local residents. Energy storage systems not only serve charging facilities, but also participate in power grid peak and frequency regulation to enhance regional power supply reliability. In the future, the power station will be deeply integrated with Yongxiu County's electric vehicle promotion plan and hydrogen energy transportation network to build a "zero carbon transportation" ecosystem. At the same time, the project plans to introduce V2G (vehicle network interaction) technology to realize two-way energy interaction between electric vehicles and power grids, further promote the construction of energy Internet, and provide demonstration experience for high-quality development of new energy industry in Jiangxi and even the whole country.
