The Pinggao Energy Storage 450MW Power Station in Xinxiang, Henan is an important layout of Pinggao Group in the field of new energy. The project is located in Xinxiang, Henan, with a planned total capacity of 450MW and will be implemented in stages. The project aims to enhance the flexibility and stability of regional power grids through large-scale energy storage systems, alleviate the intermittency problem of new energy generation, and promote the efficient consumption of clean energy such as wind power and photovoltaics. As a key support for the new power system, power stations can participate in grid peak shaving, frequency regulation, and emergency backup, providing reliable guarantees for local industrial parks, transportation hubs, and residential electricity consumption, and helping to achieve the "dual carbon" goal.



The power station adopts lithium iron phosphate battery technology, combined with intelligent energy management system (EMS), to achieve millisecond level response and precise power control. The project enhances system scalability through modular design, reduces operation and maintenance costs, and is equipped with advanced fire protection and temperature control systems to ensure safety and reliability throughout the entire lifecycle. After completion, the annual peak shaving capacity of the power station can reach hundreds of millions of kilowatt hours, which is equivalent to reducing the consumption of tens of thousands of tons of standard coal and significantly reducing carbon emissions. At the same time, the project will drive the development of the local energy storage industry chain, create employment opportunities, and provide demonstration samples for the large-scale application of new energy storage in Henan Province and even the whole country.
